Thank you to everyone who came to the 2021 Sahale Shindig Northwest Permaculture Convergence! We will be working on gathering pictures and media from the weekend to share on our Story page.
2021 FAQ's
How do I get there?: Directions to Sahale attached HERE!
Can I come for just a day?: Yes, we have day tickets that can be purchased on the Eventbrite page called "Day Visit + Lunch", if you would rather dinner as the meal then that's ok too!
Can I buy tickets at the door/registration?: Yes, we will have a registration table set up and you can purchase tickets there.
Can kids come to the convergence? How much are their tickets?: Yes, children are more than welcome! Kids 12 and under are free, and there are Youth tickets available for kids ages 13 to 18.
What are the Covid precautions?: Sahale follows state mandates, and protects the health of its elder and at-risk residents through a diligent covid safety protocol. Our event will be totally outside or in an open-air tent and open-wall spaces. Masks are required when passing through indoors, such as pickup up meals. While in the dining hall we must wear a mask, wash hands upon entering, get our meal and exit to eat outside, covered areas provided. Indoor bunk accommodations are for vaccinated folks in Sahale's group housing, unvaccinated folks seeking provided accommodations will be given a tent with a bed or other solo space, or have the option to camp in the large outdoor tent. Hand washing and sanitizing stations will be abundant, with designated bathroom facilities for vaccinated and unvaccinated folks. Outside, masks and social distancing are encouraged as befits your own beliefs and comfort zones.
Do you have any Scholarships or Work-trades?: We kept our cost as low as possible this year, only charging a few dollars over the base room + meals cost of the venue for our annual administrative fees to sustain the organization. As such we have limited work trade and scholarships. Please, don't hesitate to ask if you are in need and want to join! We have 50% off tickets available for those who can help with promotions and documentation. Northwest Native community members, we have a few 100% off tickets available for you! We are in gratitude for the chance to facilitate the landscape this weekend and thank your ancestors for tending the soil before us. Please email info@northwestpermaculture.org for work-trade and scholarship codes.
Do you have last years convergence on video? 2020 Online Conference Videos: Our 1st ever virtual event, now on our new YouTube channel on our contact page at NorthwestPermaculture.org .
