We are building a permacuture site in the Charleston area of Coos County on two acres adjacent to the Coquille Tribal Forest. Most of the site is mature mixed conifer. Previously disturbed areas of the site are being developed into a home, a greenhouse, and a large organic food garden. The house will include a canning kitchen for food preservation and wine, beer, and cheese making. When fully functional we hope to provide excess organic produce at cost to the local community and inspire others to grow some of their own produce.

I have a Master Gardener certificate, a Permaculture Design Certificate, and a Master of Public Policy degree from Oregon State University.
