Thank you for your interest in presenting a workshop
at the 2020 Northwest Permaculture Convergence

A core part of permaculture is sharing what we are learning to bring about more green and resilient homes, neighborhoods, economy and culture.

Permaculture is a big umbrella and the Convergence is a great place to show, tell, and cross-pollinate! We want to hear about urban and rural projects, tech, social permaculture, reaching out to a wider audience, allies and assets in the community, neighborhoods, mindful economics, growing food and much more. All proposals will be considered. Please read through the proposal details below, and then click the button at the bottom to submit your proposal. We look forward to hearing from you!

We have identified several tracks of interest:

1. Allies and Assets - Working With the Mainstream and What's Available
2. Rural Permaculture, Large and Small Scales
3. Plants, Soil and Animals – Suburban, City, Rural
4. Tools and Tech – Solar, Wind, Water and More
5. Green and Resilient Lifestyles and Economics – Eco Villages, Cooperatives, Neighborhoods
6. Green and Resilient Culture – Place making, Companion Movements, Communication
7. Skillshare Village - Outdoor, hands-on

Here is the proposal process and related details:

1. Please send us info about your presentation (the sooner the better) so we can best evaluate your proposal.

2. Early September: We will contact you before September 1, or September 1 at the latest, to let you know if your proposal has been accepted.

3. We also are planning an open space time during the Convergence when anyone can offer a presentation.

4. Another option is a mini presentations as part of the event schedule - 15 minutes each for stories important to share but brief in time needed. When submitting your proposal, please indicate that it is a mini presentation.

Please help us spread the word about the Convergence. E-mail friends and networks. There are group discounts available; inquire to the registrar to learn more.

Presenters of full one-hour workshops or presentations will receive free admission for the day of the presentation.
To submit an application to be a presenter for the 2020 Northwest Permaculture Convergence, e-mail your name, contact e-mail, title of your presentation, 50 word description of your presentation, bio, website and photo to info@northwestpermaculture.org
