Hello
Dear NWPCC Permaculture Friend,

Spring - Loving all the New Green and New Hope ….
This spring is an exciting time of new hope! We are excited to announce collaborative ventures for our convergence this year. New Era Convergence in August near Eugene...
First, we are proud supporters of the New Era Convergence at Skycamp - Its August 21-24th 2022. Register early here. This gathering will bring together thinkers and activists to chart a wholistic sustainable norm. NWPCC will share more soon on the sessions we are sponsoring and hope to see you there!

Fall NWPCC Event - Land Restoration Project...
Second, we’re almost ready to announce our fall conference - centered around a work party! We are partnering on a land restoration project in or near Oregon this year. It’s really exciting to have a place to camp together and get our hands dirty building up the soil, and our community, while we learn together.

Our theme for 2022 is Activate Mutual-Aide.  We’re leaning into this through letting our convergence energy support affinity organizations who share our heart for people, planet and justice.

Join us 7pm this evening May 12, 2022 and next Thursday's BOD Zoom  to support the projects and make this years gatherings a blast!

Yours,
President Shaelee, Julie (Community Coord.) and Team NWPCC

Also: seeking new board members! Most of our team members terms are up; we will be voting in new folks at the fall event. Get involved now and discover what your favorite way to carry on this organization is. Thanks!

P.S.S. From Julie. Farm Raising for Shaelee's Farm in Sequim. It's working! Please share and support as you are able . Its on a New Awesome Crowd-Funding platform here.

Structured to Feel Welcome

Hello All!
I apologize if the email we sent last night felt off-putting in regards to Sahale's Covid and dog policies.
The good news is that Northwest Permaculture has organized this gathering to create safety with the unknown. To respect the residents and create out time in the unregulated spaces where Covid doesn't have to be our focus. All our meeting spaces are open-air, outside or in breezy buildings where masks are optional. The only time vaccination status comes up is when picking volunteer duties, either in the kitchen (Sahales main food hub- vax only folx volunteer here) or at the rest of camp.
I have been very diligent to setup our time so that we all can feel welcome and like full participants all weekend! I look forward to camping in the woods, visiting with you all and enjoying the wilderness of the hood canal.
Thank you,
Shaelee, president NWPC
I am rather preoccupied with final bits and getting there, but feel free to email if you are concerned or have questions.

Regarding Covid: there was a lot of close contact and crowding. We are sure to have cases of Covid 19 after the event. Can you provide a place for folx to self-report confirmed cases so that we can do a little bit of contact tracing? People Care includes taking care of each other in the real present situation of a Pandemic.
