The Sahale Shindig
Hi NW Permaculture Friends,
We are so excited the unique community driven format this year. Its non-hierarchical giving everyone a space to share, from formal presentations to open mic and trade-blanket. Meals and camping are provided, indoor sleeping option at low additional cost. The large tent hall is also open to lay your mat on the floor if you'd like to camp light. Children are free, our youth program is fun, and the venue is spectacular.
Are you joining us? There’s still time to sign up for the 2021 gathering on the hood canal, Oct 15-17 at Sahale Retreat Center.
A community collaborative event, we are riffing on the theme of open space and emergent design. Our team has created a basic structure, the schedule getting filled out as enthusiastic individuals join our meetings to share their stories. We are an all volunteer board and community collective, creating the event through the passions we have to offer, making space for you to do the same. Could be music. Could be mending clothes (bring something you have that needs mending - this is a real offer for a group activity!). Check out the schedule and offerings we expect so far. Are you coming and want to present? Use the comment function to add your session, or add it during the event! What are you excited about? Bring it!
You are welcome to add your piece at our next meeting! Zoom meeting join info on the NWPCC website, usually 7-8pm PT. Next meetup is Oct 12th, a Tuesday. The NW Permaculture 2021 Questionnaire is another portal to speak your mind and shape the event.

Outside, masks and social distancing are encouraged as befits your own beliefs and comfort zones.

There is desire for a followup online gathering this fall focused around building connections and sharing gratitude. Let us know if you’d like to help.
