Cocreated Convergence

Hello NW Permaculture Friends,
The Sahale Shindig starts tomorrow.  There are still a few tickets left if you would like to join, register here , we will share digitally post-event and can include your permaculture projects!  Email us if you'd have like to be a part.
Arrivals begin at beautiful Sahale starting Friday Noon. Registration will be inside the big-top tent just past parking, which also houses the main schedule, our Permandala Project and FreeLand (gifting exchange tables).  You can still add ideas/comments to our Schedule; feel free to print a blank one out here.  This weekend we will collectively fill it in with sticky-notes on a large schedule on the main tent's wall.  We plan to hear from Kitsap Harvest at 4pm, have dinner at 7pm, closing the evening with a circle of introductions and intentions in the Tea-Saloon.
Please take pictures and notes, share on our discord and slack groups so our greater community that can't make it can still learn and play along with us.  Directions to Sahale, and community join links are on the NWPCC website.
What to Bring:
  • Food for use in meals: Lots of Vegetables, ferments, condiments, eggs, cheese, sauces, dips, soups, anything you love to eat (thats not in a package).  Please add to the Contributions List here.
  • Rain gear and warm clothes
  • Sleeping bags, blankets and tents/tarps. Campers are welcome to shelter in our gathering spaces overnight to stay dry. (and Sahale has an abundance of mattress pads that can be used for extra comfort.)
  • Garden Gloves and one favorite garden tool with your name on it.
  • Clothes to mend (a project planned)
  • Pen and paper
  • Items to trade at the Trade Blanket Ceremony
  • Items to sell at a Bazaar one afternoon
  • Give away items for Courney's giveaway table or Kristie's pop up bank
  • Cell/Camera with Media storage/battery if you want to be one of our citizen videographers for story telling later.
  • Musical instruments for sharing around open circle time! Instruments, DJ equipment and dance shoes to rock that floor
  • Fire toys for the campfire, and songs to sing
Safety Notes: 1) Dogs are not allowed to roam at Sahale. If you didn’t know and have a pup please keep them in your car, on a leash when at camp and use the adjoining vast wilderness for walks.  2) Indoor spaces are for vaccinated folx to protect at-risk residents, specific bathrooms are also reserved for vax only.  3) Thank you for caring and doing your part to respect yourself and others!
We are stoked to be crafting this weekend with you.
Best,
Team NWPCC
